I am a fully qualified Gardener, from Askham Bryan College and have gained a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Horticulture. I am local to Harrogate and Wetherby have lived here all my life. I have always had a keen interest and passion for gardening, growing my own plants, fruit and veg at home since a young age.

 

For over 12 years I have been working within horticulture gaining a lot of experience and knowledge. I spent two years at Askham Bryan where during this time I was awarded with a Gold Medal at Ideal Young Gardeners of the Year 2012 competition. I also spent two years at herbaceous perennial plant nursery, Orchard House Nursery, where I cared for plants. Since then I spent two years at Rudding Park Hotel, Harrogate where I worked as a Gardener, maintaining the grounds, keeping them to a high standard.

 

I also have NPTC Level 2 Award in safe use of Pesticides; PA1 and PA6 this allows me to spray weedkiller and pesticides.

I have liability insurance and a waste carriers licence which allows me to remove any waste.

 

Over the years i have gained a wide range of knowledge and skills some of which I have listed below;

 

Lawn Care, Turfing, Pruning, Pest and Disease, Knowledge of Plants and Lawns, Planting, Hedge Cutting, Weed Control, Vegetable Growing, Patios/Driveways/Paths, Machinery and Mulching.

All of these skills and more I can use to assist in maintaining your garden, making it a haven for you to sit back, relax and enjoy.
